Make your computer Speakers Louder
My computer speaker's sound was too low then we tried some tips to make our computer speaker louder. Wanna know those ways how you can make your computer speaker louder then stay tuned we have explained step by step below.
Lockdown is going through all over the world and we are getting bored at our homes. The only source of entertainment is the internet and our favorite movies, Netflix, amazon prime and etc.
But my computer speakers are not louder and I'm not able to enjoy the movies and web series properly. Is the same situation with your computer speakers?
If yes then don't worry I found really effective ways to make computer speakers louder these techniques are tested personally by me on my computer and these tips really work.
For MAC Users
I'm not a full-time MAC user but a few of my teammates are. We discovered how to amplify the speakers of MAC with a program called Audio Hijack from Rogue Amoeba.
This software lets you amplify the sound coming out from your MAC computer.
So how to set up this software to amplify sound on your MAC computer:
1 - Open Audio Hijack
2 - Click and drag the application block into the main window
3 - Select the application you would like to make louder from the dropdown menu(whether it is Netflix, VLC, etc)
4 - Now repeat step 2 with the "Volume" module. Your window will look like the following is
5 - Now click and drag the "Output" option into the main window
6 - Setup your output device to "Internal speakers"
7 - Click the button on the lower-left corner to run your audio through Audio Hijack
8 - Now adjust the audio level to your heart's content using the volume module. The good starting point is at 2x under the "Overdrive" and moving the volume slider up. 2x is the balanced volume option which will not push your speakers more and will produce the enhanced amplified audio.

The application is available on Rogue Amoeba's official website at 65$ cost. There is also a free version of this software which you can use but with some limitations.
For Windows Users
I'm a full-time windows user and using windows OS since my childhood. But honestly, windows users might have an easy fix for this problem of low speaker sound. Then I researched some methods but it also depends on the soundcard installed on your PC.
Built-in Windows Solution to amplify speakers
1 - Open the control panel on your PC
2 - Select the "Sound" option under the Hardware and Sound section
3 - Select the speakers then click on properties
4 - Select the enhancement tab
5 - Check loudness equalization
6 - Click on the apply button
If you followed the above 6 steps then you will notice a change in the loudness of your computer speakers.
Some of the users may be stuck on step 4 or 5 because some of the soundcards don't provide you those options.
PC Alternative 1
1 - Open the control panel
2 - Select the sound option under the hardware and sound section
3 - Select your speakers then click on the properties
4 - Select the enhancements tab
5 - Select equalizer
6 - Turn up each Equalizer bands
7 - Save the settings
PC alternative 2
If your soundcard, unfortunately, doesn't support the above options then the only option is to purchase good quality speakers for your PC which are available online at very affordable prices.
